An Enrollment Specialist will review each transfer student's application on an individual basis. The enrollment specialist will work with the academic department to determine the best course of action for you. Your enrollment specialist will assist you with compiling all the necessary paperwork to make your transition into ICHS an easy one.

Next you will work with the finance department.

A Finance Specialist will assist you with reviewing your program plan and determining your finance options.

Finally, student navigators (advisors) are assigned to each student to support them throughout their academic journey.

You will meet your first navigator in the new student orientation course.

Transfer of Credit Consideration

The College considers transfer credits from accredited institutions recognized by the US Department of Education. The College does not guarantee transferability of credits from any other institution. Any decision on the transferability of credits, and whether the credits meet the College’s criteria, is solely at the discretion of International College of Health Sciences.

The college evaluates transcripts and determines potential transfer credit that may be granted to the student. The following are considered in the evaluation:

  • Course subjects are comparable to courses offered and applicable toward a degree offered by the College.
  • Transfer credit is given for courses with a 75% “C” (2.0 GPA or higher) or better.
  • The student must submit an official transcript from his or her previous institution, documenting grades prior to the end of the first semester.
  • In certain circumstances, a course description may be required.
  • Any student wishing to submit transcripts from a foreign institution for consideration of transfer of credits is required to provide a translation and evaluation of transcripts.

There is a transfer of credit evaluation fee which is not refundable. Should additional transfer credit requests be accepted after enrollment, additional fees may apply per transcript reviewed.

Please see the College Catalog for specific requirements.

If you are planning on transferring from ICHS to another educational provider, we cannot guarantee the transferability of credits or hours earned at the ICHS. Any decision on the transferability of credits or hours is at the sole discretion of the receiving institution.
