Library

The ICHS Library and Learning Resource Center provides current reference materials and 24/7 access to a suite of online books, journals, newspapers and videos. The library’s website serves as the online access to the library and includes a catalog of the print materials in the campus library.

Students are also provided a login to access the online Library and Information Resources Network (LIRN).

Parking

Parking for International College of Health Sciences' students is available throughout the medical plaza. Please do not park in spaces reserved for visitors or for other tenants. Please park as close and as carefully as possible to allow maximum use of the available space.

Vehicles parked in handicapped spaces must display the appropriate sticker or license plate. Improperly parked cars may be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense. The College will not be liable for fire, theft, damage, or personal injury involving employees' automobiles. Students should always lock their car doors.

For student's protection, do not leave unattended automobiles in any parking area overnight or on weekends. The College will not reimburse students for parking tickets.

Housing

The ICHS does not have any dormitory or housing facilities. The school may be aware of available housing in the area and students who need housing should contact the admissions office for recommendations on housing.

Academic Advising services are available to all enrolled students for academic issues and challenges that may occur throughout their time of enrollment. The Student Support Center is designed to implement the most effective methods, strategies and skills needed to provide students with possible options and alternatives to help resolve their specific academic concerns. The Student Support Center aims to prevent academic problems rather than simply solving them. Student Navigators, faculty, and academic administrators monitor students ongoing progress and may refer high risk student for mandatory advising. Students are expected to comply with referrals to the Student Support Center. Please contact the Student Support Center to schedule an advising meeting.

ICHS is committed to helping students with career opportunities. Our programs are geared for both a first time medical professional as well as someone continuing their healthcare career. We have a network of placement opportunities.

The Office of Career Services

The Office of Career Services provide job-search assistance to graduates in good standing in the field for which they are trained. Prior to, and after graduation, the Office of Career Services will advise students in career development skills and assist students in finding employment in their chosen career field. The College does not guarantee employment upon graduation. The College maintains compliance with federal, local, and general placement requirements. Criminal history (or investigations) may affect The College’s ability to assist with job placement opportunities.

Job-search assistance will be in the form of some or all the following:

• Interviewing skills seminars
• Resume preparation seminars
• Job-search techniques seminars
• Interview scheduling
